Repertorium utriusque iuris. Padua: Johann Herbort, 16. November, 1480. There are several special bibliographies about incunabula which attempt to list books printed up to 1500. This incunabulum has the reference number 11589 in the bibliography: L. Hain, Repertorium bibliographicum, in quo libri omnes ab arte typographica inventa usque ad annum MD recensentur. It is number M844 in Goff, Incunabula in American Libraries. 17.25" x 11.5" (440 mm x 292 mm) for each leaf. On laid paper. The rubrication was done by hand at the time of publication. The leaves are quite clean, there is occasional staining, soiling etc, but mainly in the margins. Flaws are mentioned only if they cannot be seen on the pictures.These wide margined leaves have not been trimmed and may show unevenness or flaws of the edges. The large initial "F" was cut out with loss of text. Pictured:Each leaf of the quire in sequential order and the colophon which gives the date as "Anno domini MCCCCLXXX. die. XVI Novembris." or in the year of our lord 1480 on the 16th day of November.
